From 13 – 24 September 2010, CSC hosts a speaking tour by its Canadian author, Keith Bolender, who will also be signing copies of his work.

Bolender provides first hand accounts from some of the victims of the more than 1,000 documented attacks against Cuba. An informative introduction by Noam Chomsky (exclusively reprinted in CubaSi magazine) provides the context for these attacks; 50 years of aggressive US foreign policy directed towards the island by 10 successive US Presidents.

Since the early 1960s, few other countries have endured more acts of terrorism against civilian targets than Cuba, and the US has had its hand in much of it. This book gives a voice to the victims, allowing them to articulate the atrocities the Cuban people have suffered - which largely originate from Cuban counter-revolutionaries based in the US, often with the active help of the CIA. It is a unique resource for activists, journalists and students interested in Cuba's torrid relationship with the US.

Keith Bolender has lectured on the Cuban revolution at the University of Toronto and written numerous articles on Cuba for the Toronto Star.
